Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are in Venice right now after spending time in Florence on their first Hiddleswift-style Italian getaway as a couple. And while paparazzi had captured them together, their official feeds showed no trace they were really a Thing until yesterday.
The Weeknd made it Instagram official by posting a pic of Gomez in his Instagram story from their museum date at Florence’s Uffizi Gallery.

Gomez replied with her own permanent Instagram post of his face, with just a “😍” as the caption. But, while it stayed up for several hours—and past 6 a.m. this morning—it was taken down before 8:30 a.m. The answer why isn’t clear for now (cold feet? Wasn’t feeling the post? Bieber backlash?), but fan accounts captured the shot see below
