When it comes to juice fasting we love to keep it simple yet tasty. Keeping it simple helps you stay on course.

Juice fasting is great for getting rid of that stubborn belly fat. It’s extremely effective and it’s never failed to erase the belly fat on our Angels.

Our favorite go to juice drink for a fast is the cucumber cooler. Of course it’s important to change things up. We will be discussing other juice recipes in later posts.

Cucumber Cooler Recipe by ManjulaIngredients:

1 cucumber peeled and cut in small cubes to make about 2 cups (we like to use English cucumber)
About 8 mint leaves
3 cups water
1 tablespoon lime juice adjust to taste
3 tablespoons sugar adjust to taste
1/4 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper adjust to taste
Ice cubes to serve

In a blender, puree the cucumber, mint, salt, pepper and sugar. Pour the puree through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl. Use the spoon to press the solids to take out all the juice. There will be about 1-1/4 cups of cucumber juice.
Add the lime juice and water mix it well.
Fill the glasses with ice cubes and pour the cucumber drink.
Cucumber cooler is ready to be served. Enjoy!

We recommend a 7 -10 day juice fast to start, consult with your dietician before embarking on this if you've never done a fast before, a switch to intermittent fasting(if your belly fat is severe) is recommended once you complete the fast.
