New year, new country, new persona – and yet Joe can’t seem to shake off his past. YOU S4 part 1 comes to Netflix on February 9th.
Really love how they can make every season different. 1st season, we see a basic love story about a wolf and a sheep. 2nd season, we see the wolf fall inlove with a wolf in a sheep’s clothing. 3rd season, we see the wolves take care of their child and tear each other. 4th season, we see the wolf being preyed on by a superior predator.
it’s so cool! like this could’ve just been a straightforward “haha watch this sociopath stalk and murder someone each season” but each time they make it work with the story, rather than the other way round, and so each season is different, fresh, and keeps us moving. each season also involves some kind of consequence from the previous season (well, previous murder) as well, so even with the location/story changes it’s still connected. it’s very character driven and very enjoyable that way.
This show has been a guilty pleasure since season 1 and I cannot wait for this next season. It looks so good!
