Mexico was going through a period of instability, the United States took advantage of that. Mexico and Latin America is a problem in itself because it was made to be exploited not to be colonized. The United States was made to be colonized and had a lot of self governance which led to independence, what did we do with that independence? We became hypocrites, this doesn’t mean the United States can’t fix the mistakes of the past.
