Let me start off by saying thank you to all of the amazing individuals and organizations who have taken the time to congratulate me on my Professor Emeritus Award. I am truly honored by all the well wishes and kind words that have been sent my way. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication that I have put into my career over the years, and I am grateful to be recognized in such a meaningful way.

In particular, I would like to thank my incredible Husband. At the award ceremony I looked over at him and He looked so happy, And rightly so! This award might as well be given to him, because if he had not given me; the enabling peaceful environment, unalloyed support to push on with my career, encouragement & monumental provision & love, I would not have smelt this Zenith!!!
I am grateful to him!!
I am petitioning God to; not only grant him his heart desires but to exceed them, in Jesus Name! Amen

My special thanks go to the Vice Chancellor, the University UAC, The Provost of the College of Medicine, UNN, The Dean FMS and the National medical women Association.
I also extend my thanks to the Medical Women Association of Nigeria Enugu, the National Blood Service Commission led by Professor Saleh Yuguda, and the Ekiti Cancer Registry Nigeria led by Dr. Abidemi Omoniyi. These organizations have been at the forefront of healthcare and medical research in Nigeria, and I am humbled to have their support and recognition.

The Medical Women Association of Nigeria Enugu plays a crucial role in advancing healthcare for women and children in Nigeria. Their dedication to improving healthcare access and quality for all is truly inspiring, and I am proud to be associated with such a reputable organization. I look forward to continuing to work alongside them in our shared mission of promoting health and wellness for all.

I would also like to express my gratitude to the National Blood Service Commission led by Professor Saleh Yuguda. Blood donation is a critical aspect of healthcare, and the work that the Commission does in ensuring a safe and sufficient blood supply for those in need is truly commendable. I am honored to have their support and collaboration in our efforts to improve healthcare outcomes for all Nigerians.

Lastly, but certainly not least, I want to thank the Elitist Cancer Registry Nigeria led by Dr. Abidemi Omoniyi. Cancer continues to be a major public health concern in Nigeria, and the Registry’s work in tracking and monitoring cancer cases is essential in developing effective prevention and treatment strategies. I am grateful for their recognition and look forward to working together to make strides in cancer research and treatment in Nigeria.

In receiving this esteemed award, I am reminded of the importance of continuing to push boundaries and strive for excellence in all aspects of my work. As a Professor Emeritus, I have a responsibility to share my knowledge and expertise with the next generation of healthcare professionals and researchers. I am committed to mentoring and supporting young minds in their pursuit of knowledge and innovation, and I am confident that together, we can make a meaningful impact on healthcare in Nigeria and beyond.

To all those who have supported me on this incredible journey, I offer my sincerest thanks. Your words of encouragement and recognition mean more to me than you will ever know. I am truly humbled by this honor and will continue to work tirelessly to advance healthcare and medical research in Nigeria and beyond.
