Many terraces with view and an amazing big courtyard from where you have direct access to the small private church of the castle itself. Private Parking!
The space
THE CASTLE IS IDEAL FOR WEDDING VACATIONS BUT ALSO FOR A LARGE FAMILY OR GROUP OF FRIENDS NORMAL VACATIONS!!!

IMPORTANT: IN CASEYOUR STAY IS FOR AN EVENT OR WEDDING PLEASE READ WELL THE HOUSE RULES BEFORE BOOKING!!! Our castle is set on the top of a small hill in the countryside. The area is very safe and peaceful, ideal to relax and outdoor sport or trekking. However this hill rises up just next to the historical center of the town where you’ll find all activities, groceries, shops also a train station useful to reach Florence and Siena!

AT YOUR DISPOSAL:
– A Big Parking inside the automatic gate of the property, just outside of the big walls of the Castle! In case of event this parking area (A big grass around the walls belt) can accommodate about 30 cars!!
– A big POOL 17 X 7 meters! The Pool is located in one of the big panoramic terrace of the castle (High level ground, inside the walls) surrounded by battlements and some olive trees. In this area you’ll find umbrella sun, sun beds and a small shower.
– A big Living Area with direct access from the big ground of the castle and from the library of the property. This space can accommodate till 70 people in case of a lunch or dinner! Also in the courtyard we can accommodate 70 people eating in ten round tables for example. This is just in case of a wedding or events in general. (Usually our guests in case of wedding they have the Aperitif or welcome drink in the pool area, the dinner in the courtyard (In case of bad weather in the big living in the ground floor), the Cake cutting in the rear terrace which has amazing view! Then the courtyard and the big lounge they are set up for dancing. POOL AREA WILL BE CLOSED DURING THE EVENT AND THE GUESTS WHO DON’T SLEEP AT THE VILLA THEY WILL HAVE NO ACCESS TO THIS AREA FOR SAFETY REASONS (EXCEPT IN CASE OF APERITIF BEFORE THE CEREMONY OR BEFORE DINNER; OF COURSE WITH NO SWIMMING)
In case of events music has to be stopped by midnight in according with the local regulation. The party has to end by 1 am (At this times guests who don’t sleep at the villa need to go to their accommodations and leave the castle)
IMPORTANT: THE EVENT OR WEDDING CAN’T TAKE PLACE THE EVENING / NIGHT BEFORE THE CHECK OUT DATE.

THE SPACE:
The Castle is divided into 4 main structures:
1) THE TOWER: It’s an amazing double bedroom with private access directly from the pool area by a very small private open patio. The tower is on two levels: On the ground floor a French bed 140X190, Air Conditioning, Wifi. The steps in the tower bring you to the upstair level where there is a cozy bathroom with WC, washbowl, Shower! And a small wardrobe area. Sleep here is an experience. The tower is very bright (Obviously you can close the wooden shutters at all windows).
2) The CHURCH (accessible directly by the courtyard and by the high level ground of the Castle)
3) The Owner’s apartment (Where I Live)
4) The MAIN BUILDING of the property which is divided into 4 apartments, big main hall and several terraces. This area is accessible by the courtyard.
On the GROUND FLOOR of the main structure you’ll find:
– a Big Hall with super big windows and a big door which faces directly on the ground of the castle. (This area is ideal in case of wedding or events).
– A living room with sofas that in case of event could be transformed in a open bar area! Also this area is accessible directly from the courtyard.
– An ancient library and a Restroom area with two WC and two washbasin (To use when there are events for example in the hall for the guests of your party who don’t sleep at the castle).
– 2 Apartments: both accessible directly by the rear terrace of the Castle (same level of the courtyard and the main ground of the property). Those apartments shared this big terrace which is an amazing garden with breathtaking view!
Both apartments have one Double room with queen size bed, a kitchenette, Air Conditioning, WiFi (in all the property), one Bathroom with shower, Wc, bidet and washbasin.
On the 1st FLOOR of the main structure you’ll find:
– 2 other Apartments with common entrance by the internal courtyard. One of the apartment is smaller and it has a Double bedroom with queen size bed, one living room, kitchenette and bathroom with shower, wc, washbasin and bidet. This apartment has amazing view on San Gimignano.
The other apartment is on the same floor and it is the bigger one! It has one big terrace above the internal courtyard and one other veranda with view on the rear part of the castle. From here you will enjoy the classic view of the most characteristic Tuscan countryside!! In this apartment you’ll find a big Living room (from where you have access to these two private outdoor areas). Here a large table and comfortable sofa. A kitchen (here only also a dishwasher), small oven, fridge, kettle, freezer, cooking flames (in all the apartment’s kitchens), A Double room with queen size bed. Air Conditioning and Wifi like in all the apartments.
You have to consider that the most of the times you will have al fresco dinners or lunch and breakfast. So under the veranda of the courtyard and also in the rare terrace you’ll find table, chairs and umbrella sun to enjoy your time all together!! So all equipments for 10 people, no worry!

Guest access
Guests have access to all the areas of the castle except to my own apartment. Sometime they could meet me at the pool or in the courtyard which is from where I access to my apartment too, but opposite side from the guests ones. However I’m very happy to help and assist you in case you’ll need. Also I will be glad to give you maps and tips about the area! I will respect your privacy!

Other things to note
HOUSE RULES:
– Please don’t smoke in the indoor areas of the Castle
– Advise about almost one day before of your check in day about your arrival time.
– Price not include Tourist Tax: 2 Euro per person per night for the first 5 nights of a stay (Children under 12 yo free of charges).

Music stops at midnight in according with the local regulation, party has to finish by 1 am and at this time guests who will not sleep at the castle they will need to leave the place and return to their accommodations by their transports or with driver services you arranged for them.
