I’m very grateful that my grandmother took me to an etiquette course when I was about 8 years old. I incorporated all the rules since then and for me all of this is quite natural. I also hear compliments from different people from time to time that I am very elegant. I grew up in a simple immigrants family but I learned that even if you don’t have easy access to money and affluent people, you can still stand out by: etiquette, proper manners, cultural knowledge, clean and well groomed appearance.

The restaurant is the place where you can show off your wealth and taste to the world. A jet set babe should never make these mistakes when she’s dining out.
1) Never order expensive food that you don’t like.
2) Never ask for substitutions or modifications to your dish.
3) Never order more than one appetizer, entree, or dessert per person unless it is for everyone in the table.
4) Never order anything on the menu that has been fried, breaded, or battered unless it is something like calamari or tempura shrimp .
