Kim Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are hitting one another where it hurts: their social media followings.
Following Kim’s candid interview Monday on “Ellen,” in which she defended sister Khloé in the wake of Thompson’s alleged infidelity, the mother of three unfollowed the Cavaliers power forward on Instagram. Kim, 37, had been following Thompson in mid-April, according to Elle, as reports emerged of the 27-year-old’s wandering eye.
Thompson, who broke his social media silence Sunday, has also stopped following Kim, but is still keeping up with other Kardashian family members, including Khloé, Kourtney, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, as well as momager Kris.
“I don’t even know how to describe it besides it’s just so f–ked up,” Kim said of the scandal. “We really were rooting for Khloé and we still are, she’s so strong and she’s doing the best that she can.”
Following the birth of her baby girl, Khloé has remained in Cleveland. She has not addressed her current status with Thompson, only wishing happiness for all in a recent online message.
“Life is short, and at times, we put so many others before us, but one of our priorities should be our own happiness,” Khloé wrote on her app. “Once you have that, it trickles down to everyone around us. I sincerely wish happiness and peace to my sisters and brother.”
In addition to daddy duty, Thompson, who also shares son Prince with ex Jordan Craig, is competing in the second round of the NBA playoffs.
