Ksenia Burda is from Ukraine, where she lived in a town called Kherson. Since the town is located next to Dnepr and is really close to the Black Sea, it is one of the main places, where ships are built. The Ukrainian industrial town with the population of about 300 000 is far from luxury and glamour. So was Ksenia’s life. She lost her mother, when she was only 3, and was raised by her father. When Ksenia was a child, she was very modest and shy. Since she grew up only with her father, she didn’t have opportunities to dress as nicely as she wished. Ksenia has said that she could wear the same sneakers and jeans for years, because her father couldn’t understand her need for beautiful clothes. Fortunately, this problem didn’t ruin relations between father and daughter, and they got along very well.

Nowadays, Ksenia always looks very classy and stylish. When it comes to fashion, she doesn’t get crazy about new trends. She has said that she doesn’t like spending money on colorful clothes or clothes with prints, because in few months they will be out of fashion and basically useless. Also, she doesn’t like brands like H&M and Zara, because clothes from there doesn’t last long. Therefore, she prefers more expensive brands that have better quality – Loro Piana and Yves Saint Laurent are her favourites. Ksenia doesn’t go for drug-store make-up either.
