Dr Majd Naji, of Liberty Dental Clinic is the creator of the dentures. He elaborated “Last year the people of the United Arab Emirates had bagged the title of having the World’s Happiest People. I then thought of designing this beautiful piece and enhancing the smile of not just the owner but also a charity.”
A large portion of the proceeds from the sales of the fancy dentures will go to the children’s charity, Dubai Autism Centre. The fake teeth are more of a fashion statement than anything else, as they can’t be worn while eating.
One member of the UAE royal family has reportedly placed an order for the teeth, and Dr. Majd is already making another set for a Qatari client. Authenticity and clarity certificates were obtained for the gold and the diamonds used for the dentures.
