Kylie Jenner knew she wanted to be a young mom

The billionaire beauty industry guru spoke about her feelings on motherhood in a recent in interview:

“I always knew I wanted to be a young mother,” Kylie told Interview Germany. “I remember people used to ask, ‘Are you ready for this?’ And I always knew I was ready, but you don’t know what that love and that feeling is like until after you have a child. She really comes before me so that is a lot to take in at a young age, but I feel like I was definitely made for this and she has changed my life for the better.”

Kylie claims motherhood has made her a better person

There’s something about being completely responsible for a young life that changes your perspective in huge ways. In the same interview, Kylie Jenner admitted that she’s a better person since she gave birth to Stormi in February 2018.

“The way that I look at things is a lot more positive and I really feel like my life didn’t start until I had her,” Jenner says in a sentiment that so many moms can relate to.

You may catch a glimpse of precious Stormi on Kylie’s social media accounts, but don’t expect to see her featured on KUWTK episodes anytime soon.

Is Kylie Jenner planning to have more kids?

Kylie may have wanted to be a young mom, but does she want to have a lot of kids? In the interview, she admits that yes, she’s planning to expand her family and give Stormi a sibling.

“I do want more kids but I do not have any plans in the near future to have children right now,” she said.

Could her admission have anything to do with the reported Travis Scott cheating rumors? Possibly. It’s likely that Kylie Jenner doesn’t want to have more children with a man who isn’t fully committed. She’s seen how much dysfunctional relationships can hurt children just by watching her sisters go through it – no doubt she’s trying to protect her daughter and future children from that drama.

By all accounts, motherhood has made Kylie Jenner more mature, wise, grounded, and practical. And those are all good things.
