I got so many compliments this summer, I have upgraded to linens and silk, elegant and feminine clothes. I have not changed my fashion sense, just put more effort in expressing it, just by putting in some thought and time. It lifts my mood and makes me feel better and more confident, therefore I am in a better mood.
For all the ladies who can’t afford a new expensive wardrobe every season, please consider thrift shops, I’ve scored so many expensive items from there it’s crazy even though there are only a couple ones in my area, max mara wool trousers and blazer (I’m talking 300+$ value each), Italian leather booties that are sleek and comfortable, silk scarfs and shirts, wool coats scarfs, cashmere sweater and so on! Just because you are on a budget doesn’t mean you can’t look just as polished and expensive as someone who has the money.
