What is live streaming?
Live streaming is when someone delivers content in real-time to viewers.
It has become increasingly popular and people are spending hundreds of thousands of hours watching live streams every month.
Today I am going to tell you how to grow your network marketing business using Instagram lives and then later I’m going to fill you in on a secret held by the elites that can turn you into a millionaire in a very short time.
Let’s talk about why live video is so important.
FOLLOW THE DATA
First I want to give you some data.
In 2021, people spent around 548 billion hours streaming through mobile devices.
Live streaming events increased by 300% between March and August of 2020 due to the pandemic.
Live streaming is expected to have a revenue of 184.27 billion people by 2027.
So what does the data tell you? That live video is going to continue to be a thing and you need to get on board.
IT ISN’T JUST FOR GAMERS
The top streaming creators across Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube is a pro gamer. In the first quarter of 2022, it was watched by about 628 million hours.
Even if you aren’t gaming, you are building a business around people.
Your business is built around human behavior, and live streaming is a huge part of that behavior.
It is important that you get in front of this and get it figured out.
You might be thinking “this isn’t for me, I hate being on video”.
But, let’s talk about why you want to be doing them.
WHY YOU NEED TO START
I totally feel you, I never wanted to be on video. I wanted to avoid it. It is terrifying.
But I watched my down line decide that if live video is the way we are going to get what we want out of our business, then we are going to figure it out. They started doing live video.
And their business totally exploded, about eight months faster than mine because I chose not to do live video.
So why do you need to be doing live video?
It is simple really, live video builds the know, like, and trust factor faster.
And even though you are live, you will get a lot of people who come watch the replay.
Live video will build the know, like, and trust much faster then just regular content or recorded content.
So if you want to go faster, the key here is to start doing live video.
If you want more people to talk to and want more people to talk to about your business and more people to recruit into your team, I would start doing live video now.
It is not going away, live video is going to continue to grow and grow and grow because this is the way human behavior is now.
HOW TO START
So lets jump into the how, because it can be a little scary.
To stream a live video from Instagram, you are going to use the app on your phone. You can hit the plus button and there is an option to go live.
That’s how it’s going to be in most social media platforms.
Now the scary part, what do you talk about?
What do you talk about to get people to start building real relationships with you?
Here is the key that really changed things for me, I started to think that the person on the other side of this phone needs to hear this message.
And I started speaking directly to them.
Now you can make up your own avatar by figuring our what their pain point is and how you can solve it.
DON’T JUST TALK BUSINESS
Going live can be as simple as sharing how to take the products and what it does for you.
You don’t have to talk about your business every time you go live. You can talk about different things. It can be about lifestyle, about a book you read.
Start out small and work up from there. I think my first live was about 30 seconds long.
Don’t over think it and stay consistent. That is the key.
If you start to go live and then disappear for months, you are going to have to start over because people are expecting you.
They want to know more from you and it is the fastest way to build relationships because in a live video you are your authentic self.
You provide value for others and you give them a call to action.
EVALUATE YOUR VIDEOS
You need to stay out of judgement and stick to evaluations. Just know when you get started you are going to hate your voice. You are going to pick apart every word you say. That is judgement. Stay in evaluation.
Did I go live right? Did I offer value? Did I do a call to action?
