With the arrival of the Laureato 38 mm Copper, the Maison once again demonstrates its ability to master light. The dial is not a simple one-dimensional surface, but features a “Clous de Paris” motif. This traditional motif is composed of multiple pyramidal structures that play with light, creating tiny zones of shadow and brilliance. A photo of the dial does not accurately reflect its appearance when the watch is strapped to the wrist. Although the dial is nicknamed “copper”, it has a much more complex, dynamic personality: it evolves from tawny brown to rosy gold, with many shades in between.
With its eye-catching metallic dial, the Laureato 38mm Copper is a mid-sized unisex model that doesn’t shy away from gender stereotypes. Baton-style hands and hour markers indicate the hours and minutes. These elements perpetuate the Laureato’s timeless design codes, particularly appreciated by purists since the launch of the first model in 1975.
