Aladdin retells its classic source material’s story with sufficient spectacle and skill, even if it never approaches the dazzling splendor of the animated original.
Though it’s not as appealing nor as great nor as funny as the original (and it does have a lot of flaws, including the changes made with Jafar, whom I found very weak despite some intimidating scenes), it’s still an awesome film, funny, heartfelt, action-packed, worthy of making us relive the nostalgia
