RE: *Professor Ifeoma Okoye, Inaugural Lecture Support Group on WhatsApp*

We’re preparing for a ‘first-ever’ event in the history of our beloved department – Radiation Medicine, Faculty of Medical Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Nigeria. Professor Ifeoma Okoye, the pioneer home-grown radiologist in the faculty, and the 2nd Professor of Radiology in UNN is set to deliver her inaugural lecture, the 187th of the University of Nigeria. The topic of her lecture is ‘Dream it, See it, Do it!’

An inaugural lecture encapsulates a lecturer’s academic achievements in the ivory tower. It is an elaborate occasion to showcase the trajectory of one’s academic life, from humble beginnings to the apex of the academia.
*An inaugural lecture is also capital-intensive, requiring the support of one’s close friends and associates*.
The funds raised will be mainly used as; *SEED FUND, to kick off
Cost of UPGRADING THE MAMMOGRAPHY UNIT, NAMED AFTER ME, BY THE UNTH*, to a *state of the Art Mammo Center*, with all that is needed for Breast Imaging & Interventional Breast Procedures!
