Clos Maggiore
Often named as London’s most romantic restaurant, it’s hard not to include this magical spot in a round of date night restaurants. It’s no doubt seen countless proposals taking place inside its doors. And it’s easy to see why – the interiors are sublime and the modern European menu has been awarded multiple AA-rosette awards. NoMad London
Located on Bow Street, The NoMad Restaurant is a three-story atrium, replicant of an Edwardian greenhouse. Designed by New York-based firm Roman and Williams, the space is flooded with natural light, but come night transforms into an intimate setting that’s both moody and sensual.
The menu celebrates local and seasonal ingredients, showcasing British and European bounty. A wood-burning grill is the focal point of the whole dining room.

Combining flavours and techniques of Italian and Japanese cuisine, Angelina has become a firm date night favourite for those based in East London. Sourcing the finest ingredients to create unique flavours, you can look forward to a four- or ten-course dining option. Sea Containers
Riverside views don’t come much more special than those at Sea Containers Restaurant. Designed by Tom Dixon, the restaurant offers an all-day dining experience centred around sharing. 
Think crab on toast with avocado, pickled jalapeno and coriander; grilled sweetheart cabbage with almond mayo and sweet crispy shallots; duck breast with white mustard cabbage and sauteed potatoes; and chalk stream trout with asparagus, Jersey royals and vinaigrette. From the ‘press for Champagne’ button to their infamous chicken Kyiv, Bob Bob Ricard is the ultimate place to head for a fancy dinner date.
