Listen up, my Pinky Prof tribe . I’ve been living in Nigeria for many years now, and let me tell you, it can be tough. But despite the chaos and the challenges, there is still so much joy to be found in this beautiful country.

First of all, let’s address the elephant in the room – the tough parts. Nigeria is not without its problems. From the traffic jams that seem to last for hours on end, to the numerous power outages that leave us in the dark, it can be frustrating to say the least. And don’t even get me started on the corruption and the politics. It’s enough to make anyone want to pack up and leave.

But despite all of these challenges, there is still so much joy to be found in Nigeria. The people are some of the most resilient and resourceful that I have ever met. They find ways to make do with what they have, and they do it with a smile on their faces. The sense of community, belief in God and togetherness in Nigeria is unlike anything I have ever experienced before.

And let’s not forget about the natural beauty that can be found in this country. From the stunning beaches in Lagos to the lush, green forests in Enugu, Nigeria is a paradise for nature lovers. There is so much to explore and discover here, and I feel grateful every day to be able to call this place my home.

As I mentioned earlier, my 70th birthday is coming up, and I couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate it than right here in Nigeria. My amazing husband and I have been through so much together, and I want to mark this milestone with a celebration that is as vibrant and full of life as the country that we call home. So, I’m throwing a party, and I want all of you to save the date.

It’s going to be a night to remember. There will be music, dancing, and of course, plenty of delicious Nigerian cuisine. I want to share the joy that I have found in this country with all of you, and I can’t think of a better way to do that than by throwing a big, happy party.

So, despite all of the challenges and the tough moments, I want you all to remember that there is still so much joy to be found in Nigeria. I have found happiness here, and I truly believe that anyone can do the same if they open their hearts and their minds to the beauty that this country has to offer.

I know that living in Nigeria can be tough, but it can also be joyful. And I, for one, am ready to celebrate that joy with all of you. So, mark your calendars and get ready to party, because my 70th birthday celebration with my hubby is going to be one for the record books. Let’s show the world that Nigeria is a place of joy, resilience, and celebration.
