Eva Mendes, we’ve missed you.
The actress has made her first appearance in six months (not that we’ve been keeping count or anything…) at the opening of the New York & Company store in Miami to debut her brand new fashion line.
The Place Beyond The Pines star looked radiant as per in an aqua-marine Alonza one-shoulder maxi dress from her new range, which she accessorized with a multi-colored belt.

Eva welcomed her second daughter with partner Ryan Gosling just under a year ago, and told reporters at the event, according to MailOnline: “In some ways, it’s been more challenging to get back in shape after my second daughter.
“Yet it’s not as hard as I thought it would be, because I’m always running around with the kids. I never sit down—I’m on the move all day.”
She also spoke about ditching “junk food” after the birth of 11-month-old Amada, baby sister to two-year-old Esmeralda, continuing: “I don’t keep junk food at home anymore, because I’m trying to set a good example. So there are no more Krispy Kremes for me to grab.”

And on the launch of her new line with New York & Company, she added in a statement: “It is such a thrill to open more stores, especially in the Miami Area. I was born in Miami, so this city has always been dear to me.”
Eva recently revealed why she rarely attends red carpet events after being notably absent from last month’s Oscars, where Gosling was up for a Best Actor Academy Award.
“What people don’t know about me is that I love being home,” she told Shape magazine. “Instead of hitting the red carpet, I’d rather be with our girls.”
