Drake broke a record previously held by Adele when he scored 13 Billboard Music Awards last night—the most won by any artist in a single year. But it seems like he was also trying to score in the romance department, too.
During his first acceptance speech, he made it clear that he was going to live in the moment and not waste time when it came to spreading love. “It’s crazy that we’re all here on Earth for a limited amount of time, and we need to show love while we’re here,” he said from the stage.
“So, tonight, I want to say, Vanessa Hudgens you look incredible tonight,” he continued. The bold move even shocked Drizzy’s good friend Nicki Minaj.
But Drake, an infamous hopeless romantic, didn’t stop after that public declaration. The rapper followed Hudgens on Instagram shortly after and started liking a bunch of her photos, his fans noticed.
