Curve Ball Pendant – Is it a satellite, or is it an Art Deco sculpture? Neither actually. It is a new curved geometrical light with a microscopic precision-pierced surface and soft nickel silver coating. Curve internally reflects and emits a filtered glow of ethereal light.

The designer was asked to design new outer casings for Sonos speakers and in doing so explored laser cutting and hydraulic punching processes to create amazing steel forms. The findings from this project, and a desire to push the boundaries of thin sheet metal etching led to Curve. The light has a progressive geometric form that casts a warm, comforting ambient light with strong shadows and patterns.
