This Swarovski crystal fascinator is part of the Carnivorous Plants collection; hats inspired by the hungry plants found all over the world who are nourished by insects and small animals. This hat is inspired by the deadly Drosera, commonly known as a Sundew. This clever plant attracts insects with sweet and sticky droplets that attract an insect, but never lets him leave. This graceful hat is tall and magnificent from any angle.

The base of the fascinator is made of buckram covered in red velvet. The body of the plant is made of Japanese clay and then covered in silk. The stem is a wire with Japanese clay on it, painted to shimmer. The glittering spikes affixed to the plant are pins of even lengths that hold on Swarovski crystals and other glass beads. There are also fine fibers tangled in betweens the spikes made from special thread. It stays on with an elastic band.
