Who is Tatiana Korsakova?

40 yrs old model and Slaylebrity Tatiana Korsakova – mother of two, model, philanthropist and founder of luxe activewear label, Vaara, Tatiana is a busy lady, but as one would expect, she maintains her super-glamorous status at all times. Of course, she’s an Instagram hit too, with over half a million followers keeping a keen eye on her stylish looks and fashion-month wears. Having moved from Russia to the UK, nowadays she finds herself in her beautiful English countryside home.

Ex-banker Andrey Borodin.

The couple are worth an estimated £410million and bought Britain’s most expensive home on record nine years ago – an 18th century country house near Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire priced at £140million.

Mr Borodin was granted asylum in the UK after being accused of fraud in Russia in 2013.
He and another former official at the Bank of Moscow were sought over a case involving a loan worth £276million in Russia.
The former CEO decided to settle in Britain with his wife and their two children attend a school in Berkshire.

In June 2013, the well-connected couple attended the Conservative Party summer party and sat on a table with Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
A company registered to the pair’s address paid £40,000 to buy a portrait of Margaret Thatcher at the evening’s fundraising auction.
The pair employ at least 35 members of staff to look after their 30,000 square foot, Grade II-listed home in Henley, which regularly features on Ms Korsakova’s glamorous Instagram page.
Within its sprawling grounds they also have their own polo pitch and stable block.

Moscow’s Meshchansky District Court also ordered the banker to pay a fine of 2.5 million rubles
Borodin and his accomplices are said to have embezzled the money between 2008 and 2011, according to the Russian Legal Information Agency
In 2011, Borodin along with his former first deputy Dmitry Akulinin, who was sentenced to 12 years in jail, were placed on the international wanted list by the Russian Interpol bureau
Borodin was granted political asylum in the UK in March 2013.

What’s your first fashionable memory?
My first designer piece was a Gucci skirt in unbelievable caramel color. Right after I got it I invited my mum and sister to a café, where a waiter spilled tea all over my new, beloved skirt. So, to be honest, I didn’t really have a chance to enjoy it. That was my only luxury when I was 18 but I still remember it very well.

What is your favorite brand and why?
I really like Valentino, the house has been true to itself and has preserved the brand identity well. Probably that is because the maestro himself is involved so closely with the whole creative process, from clothing to the campaigns. I admire their love for women and the signature that runs through all collections.

Additionally, many English designers appeal to me – I closely follow everything that happens in London. This season I was impressed by Christopher Kane, David Koma and Simon Rocha who all had outstanding collections.

Has your style changed since you have moved to the UK, and how?
My style has definitely changed since I moved to the UK as I’ve become more relaxed in daily life. When I go to my kid’s school or a casual get-together with friends, I will now choose something much more relaxed compared to what I’m used to. Also, my style tends to change with time, so it’s difficult to say whether my style has changed because of a move or due to a life metamorphoses, but overall it’s much more relaxed.

Which trends appeal to you the most?
I am very excited that today, red is the new black – I’m in love with this color. I also like that designers are now placing an emphasis on femininity and the 80s and 90s are coming back into fashion again. For many of us, we associate the 80s and 90s with our mothers, who despite all the difficulties did their best to look stylish and fashionable. That is why I think that the emphasis on the shoulders, waist, and high heels are the embodiment of femininity. And I am so happy that it came back to the runway and replaced the trends that were distorting women’s proportions.

You have the luxe gym wear brand, Vaara what inspires your designs?
I am inspired by architecture, designers, and their creative decisions. You notice that our active wear line lacks crazy prints. Instead, I prefer to draw inspiration from architecture
and graphic design.

Which is the most show-stopping look you’ve worn to date?
At one of the Dior shows I wore a total-red look, which is my favorite to date.

Who is really stylish in your opinion?
I like how Giovanna Battaglia plays and stylizes her looks.
