Who actually owns the Madame Gu Yacht

Madame Gu was the largest Feadship at the time of her delivery.

The Luxury Yacht was delivered by Feadship in 2013 after four years of construction. With a length of 99 meters, Madame Gu is one of the largest yachts built in the Netherlands.

The yacht’s interior and exterior are designed by Andrew Winch Designs. The yacht can reach a maximum speed of 24 knots, powered by four MTU 20v diesel engines. Madame Gu was named Superyacht of the Year in 2014.

Enclosed helicopter hangar
Superyacht Madame Gu has a fully enclosed helicopter hangar, similar to Ecstasea. The hangar can also function as a squash court.

According to consensus Andrei Vladimirovitsj Skoch is almost certainly the owner of Madame Gu.

A few years ago SuperYachtFan received a message from a London based PR company named Finsbury. Stating that Mr. Skoch is actually NOT the owner of the yacht. And requesting kindly to remove this information.

Paradise Papers
However research by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) disclosed disclosed that the Skoch family actually is the owner of the yacht. The contract was signed by Castel Shipping, based in Belize, but during construction the project was sold to Almano Holding on the Cayman Islands.

The Paradise Papers disclose that Elena Lickhach is the owner of Almano Holdings. Elena Lickhach is the wife of Skoch. So formally Skoch’s advisor is right: the yacht is not owned by Skoch, but by his wife. 😉

Mr. Skoch also owned the Amels built motor yacht Gu. She was renamed Lady Gulya. And is now sold and named Astrid Conroy.

Yacht Helicopter
The yacht has an impressive tender: a Eurocopter Dauphin AS 365N3, with a cost price of around US$ 9 million. She is registered to Monacair, with registration number 3A-MGU.
