Which social media platform is better for your niche to build your business?

Today I am going to talk about the different platforms available and how to use them to build your business.

Social media is called social media for a reason.
People go on social media to be social, not to buy something or sell something.
We don’t wake up in the morning and think “oh I need new shoes, let me go on Instagram to find some”.
People go on social media to socialize, to get educated, and to get entertained.
So keep that in mind and respect the purpose of the platform and play by the platforms rules.
If you do it will reward you with so many tools and features to help you sell and grow your business.
You have to be social first. You have to be human first and a marketer second.
CHOOSING A PLATFORM
The two platforms we get asked about the most are Facebook and Instagram. These platforms are the most commonly used by marketers.
So which one is better for your niche and your business?
Well, I am going to be honest with you, there is no such thing as the right platform.
You have to decide which one is best for you and I am going to help you do that.
You will want to choose one platform in the beginning because it is really hard to be consistent on multiple platforms at first.
So I advise you to master one platform, get really good at it, and when it doesn’t take a lot of your energy and time, then move onto the next one.
CONSIDER THESE FACTORS
There are several factors you need to keep in mind and pay attention to when it comes to deciding which platform to put your main efforts into.
First, you want to think about where your perfect prospects might hang out.
It might be different then where you like to be. Figure out where your people will be and that’s where you need to be.
Secondly, I want you to think about where its easier for you to connect with people and build relationships.
You want to choose the platform where you can connect with people privately and you feel comfortable.
And number three, you have to remember that Instagram is mostly a visual platform.
People will look at the photo or video before the text.
CHOOSE THE BEST ONE FOR YOU
There is no right or wrong one. There is not a perfect platform for everyone.
You just need to pick the one that is best suited to you and your business.
