$68 Trillion dollars is expected to transfer from the oldest generation to the younger generations over the next two decades. In this video I go over exactly how I think this could potentially have massive implications for the the crypto space.
Worth noting is that many of us feel like we’ve been excluded from the same economic growth that older generations were able to take advantage of. Saddled with debt and a distrust for traditional financial institutions, the promise of cryptocurrencies and decentralized finance to improve our lives is an extremely attractive option. Seeing how banks treat our investments, it’s easy to see why so many Millennials and Gen-Z are putting in their savings in all these projects. Who wouldn’t want to have financial freedom?
Although I am skeptical that any wealth transfer will reach those at the bottom, there’s good reason to believe that even wealthier young people will likely invest in crypto projects rather than traditional finance. It seems inevitable that the crypto space will grow exponentially in the coming years. Chances are one of the projects you invested in is going to pay off enormously.
