Featuring Giant tall statues of a Man and woman (with the man dressed in blue and the woman in orange) elevating tourists to the world’s tallest point.
The man and woman statues hold spinning wheels. These are your observatory. Once you are onboard, the statues slowly start rising higher. When the statues stand tall, they holding the observatory to the highest possible point, the viewers can enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean and magical city of Chongqing Happy Valley.
We couldn’t find any such attraction upon searching on the internet. Whatever the case, the attraction looks real. Some users have mentioned that this attraction is located at Xinghai Square. Xinghai Square is a prominent place in China and one of the top attractions for being the largest city square in the world.
According to leading tourist site trip.com, this is a must visit attraction in China. The biggest square in Asia is definitely worth having a walk around if your in Dalian. We went there off season with some friends, so it was a bit empty. But still worth a visit. Probably nicer in the summer (all of Dalian is probably nicer in the summer).
Xinghai Square, the largest city square in Asia and the largest city square in the world, covers a total area of 1.76 million square meters. Built to commemorate the return of Hong Kong, it is one of the city symbols of Dalian.
