In 10 months, Ares Design will roll out their much anticipated S1 supercars, and Supercar Blondie will be the first person in the world to get one delivered. The Australian car vlogger made the reveal to her fans, showing off her new Hypercar through her YouTube channel in a parking lot in Dubai.
“I am going to be the first person in the world to get this car delivered, and it’s going to be limited to 24 pieces.” Supercar Blondie exclaimed. She added that all the S1’s would be tailor-made to the client’s desires and taste, making each unit unique.
The road-legal Ares S1 is an upcoming Hypercar developed by Ares Design; a car company co-founded by Dany Bahar, a former Lotus CEO. The Ares Design S1 is a concept car project limited-run hypercar with only 24 units in the entire world. Recently, Ares shared production S1 Supercar’s latest design.
Ares Design is an Italian company based in Modena that has a reputation for developing elegant coachwork.
Through her reveal, Supercar Blondie showcased the S1’s standout features, including the exterior, interior, and technical features. She quickly pointed out her favorite exterior features: the Pagani frontal appearance, dramatic low-profile silhouette, rear flashing lights (La Ferrari design), and dynamic rear spoiler. She didn’t hide the fact that she didn’t like the retro-designed headlamps.
The exotic Hypercar is based on the Chevrolet Corvette C8. The midsized engine S1 packs a naturally aspirated V8 that can rev up to 8,000 rpm pushing 705 horsepower, about 200hp more than the Corvette.
The S1’s V8 engine is mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission that can propel the car from zero to 62 mph in an impressive 2.7 seconds. The Ares S1 isn’t the most powerful car out there, but it will bring some grunt to the track.
The interior layout is both simple and dramatic. The cabin resembles the Corvette C8. It is divided into two separate parts, with a symmetrical dashboard that makes both sides look identical. Unlike what you would find in modern vehicle’s the S1 doesn’t have an infotainment center display. However, there is a screen on the passenger side dashboard.
So how much did she actually pay for this level up!
Supercar Blondie revealed that while the Ares S1 looks like a $2 million car, it’ll only cost $600,00 since it’s based on a Corvette C8 donor car. “I love the fact that they are bringing Hypercars to a price point that you would never imagine is possible.”
Supercar Blondie revealed to her fans that she would get her limited-edition Ares S1 early next year.
