With all of the excitement around celebratory parties for the Platinum Jubilee, the nation has become more than a little obsessed with afternoon tea! We are sure you would love to learn how to produce an afternoon tea that’s fit for royalty. With their Ultimate Afternoon Tea Class, you and a friend will discover how to bake the lightest of scones, served with homemade seasonal fruit jam and clotted cream. You will also create classic British sandwiches, bite sized finger rolls and a range of delicate pastries.
At the end of the class, you will sit down to enjoy what you have made, with a glass of English sparkling wine or a cup or two of Tregothnan Cornish tea.
From sourcing top quality, seasonal, mostly organic ingredients, to running the kitchens on renewable energy, the school does everything possible to minimise its impact on the planet. At Cookery School it is all about using the best teachers who understand the Cookery School way of teaching and make learning how to cook good food with confidence as accessible as possible. Cookery School also run bespoke afternoon tea parties for groups and would be delighted to hear from you if you would like to hold one
