Kylie Jenner appears to have well and truly replaced Jordyn Woods with Anastasia Karanikolaou – known online as Stassiebaby – as her BFF following the ‘cheating’ scandal involving Tristan Thompson.
After Tristan was accused of cheating on Khloe Kardashian and ‘making out’ with Jordyn at a house party, Kylie reportedly stopped talking to her in February.
With the makeup mogul going all out for her pal’s 22nd birthday, over the past few days Stassie has seen well wishes from and celebrated with famous faces including Jaden Smith and Brooklyn Beckham, as well as internet stars including David Dobrik and the Vlog Squad.
But how exactly did she rise to fame?
Stassie became friends with Kendall and Kylie at age 11, becoming an honorary member of the Jenner clan. Describing their first meeting on her Instagram Stories, Kylie wrote: ‘It all started when I met this beautiful bomb a** blonde at Barnes and nobles.’
Kylie went on to share a snap of the two Jenner girls and Stassie, adding: ‘Then soon after, you basically became another sister. Stas basically lived with me growing up and it was always the 3 of us.’
After she began modelling on Instagram, the 22-year-old quickly gained a huge audience, now boasting more than 4 million followers on the social media platform.
Even back in 2015 she was making a minimum of $5000 (£3900) for every Instagram picture she shared while promoting a product, according to Entertainment Tonight. Not too shabby.
In fact, she was one of the Instagram models who promoted Fyre Festival before the event ended up making history for being so disastrous.
Known as ‘Fyre starters’, influencers including Bella Hadid, Bella Thorne and Hailey Baldwin encouraged punters to get tickets for the ‘luxury festival.’
Although many celebs keep their relationship with plastic surgery on the down low, Stassie was later praised when she opened up about going under the knife in an honest interview with Harper’s Bazaar, telling them: ‘I was very open to sharing—plastic surgery is nothing be ashamed of.
‘A lot of people think plastic surgery is only for cosmetic reasons, to change something you’re insecure about. All my comments were saying, “You’re so insecure, you’re so insecure,” which is the complete opposite,’ she added.
‘If I was insecure, I wouldn’t have showed it. I wanted to show people that there’s nothing to be ashamed of – that it’s so common for girls to have this issue and you can do something to fix it.’
In 2017, she went on to create a YouTube channel, creating beauty and lifestyle videos, with her most popular video racking up 1.4 million views.
Despite mostly hanging out with the Jenner clan, the model has also been spotted rubbing shoulders with with a multitude of famous faces over the years.
Just a few days ago, Jaden Smith was spotted at the star’s birthday party at Bootsy Bellowsin West Hollywood, with Stassie capturing an adorable video of the rapper.
She’s even been spotted out for dinner with Kendall, Kylie, Jaden, and his sister Willow and we’ve immediately decided that’s one squad we want to be part of.
Meanwhile, Stassie and Hailey Baldwin have also been seen hanging out in the past, proving the world of Instagram models is a lot smaller than you would think.
Despite making a living on the internet, Stassie’s been relatively private with her love life. She began dating Vine star turned musician Sam Wilkinson in 2016, but they ended up splitting the following year.
Back in May, she and Zane Hijazi then sparked romance rumours when the YouTuber posted a snap of them sharing a kiss – but fans remain unsure about whether they’re actually together or not.
‘The moment you put that PLUR bracelet on me, I knew you were the one. You’re my world. Marry me Stassiebaby,’ he captioned the photo.
Just a little eager.
What’s next for Stassie, then?
Other than continuing to hang out with BFF Kylie, the star mentioned in 2017 that she’d ‘love to do a lot more modeling and many more different campaigns.
‘But most importantly I would love to help change the world we live in,’ she added to Bustle. ‘I think we need a serious change for the better and I would love to be a part of a revolution that will accomplish that.’
Sounds like a plan.
