WHERE YOU LOOKING AT, BABE? (YOUR GAZE IS THE PROBLEM.)

Let’s get one thing straight, right now. This isn’t a pick-up line. This is a diagnostic question. And your answer—or more accurately, the direction of your eyes—is the single greatest tell for why you’re losing at life.

“Where you looking at, babe?”

I ask this to see if you understand the fundamental law of the universe: Your focus is your reality. Your attention is your currency. And right now, you’re spending it all on trash.

You’re looking at Instagram models. You’re looking at TikTok clips. You’re looking at your friend’s new car with a sick feeling of envy. You’re looking at the news, designed to make you angry and scared. You’re looking at the girl who doesn’t respect you, hoping for a scrap of her attention.

YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE AUDIENCE, WHEN YOU SHOULD BE LOOKING AT THE STAGE.

Let me explain this in simple terms for the simple-minded. Life is a theater. There are performers, and there is the crowd. The crowd watches. The performers get paid. The crowd reacts. The performers control. The crowd is passive. The performers have power.

Which one are you? Are you in the seats, or are you under the lights?

Every second your eyes are fixed on someone else’s highlight reel, you are confessing to the world that you are a spectator in your own life. You are a consumer. A fan. A FANATIC. And fanatics are broke, emotional, and weak.

When I walk into a room, I’m not looking for validation. I’m not scanning faces to see who approves. I’m assessing the room for threats, for opportunities, for value. My gaze is active, tactical, and purposeful. Your gaze is reactive, emotional, and desperate.

“Where you looking at, babe?” is me asking: Are you looking at the menu, or are you the chef? Are you looking at the scoreboard, or are you playing the game?

The matrix is a system of distractions. It is a 24/7 circus designed to CAPTURE YOUR GAZE. Every app, every show, every advertisement, every provocatively dressed woman on the street—it’s all a bid for your most precious resource: YOUR ATTENTION. And when they have your attention, they have your mind. When they have your mind, they have your wallet, your time, your energy, and your future.

You are what you behold. Look at weakness, you become weak. Look at poverty, you internalize lack. Look at chaos, you become disordered.

So what should you be looking at?

1. LOOK AT THE BLUEPRINT. Your plan. Your business model. Your financial projections. Your vision board with your cars, your properties, your empire. Not someone else’s.

2. LOOK AT THE MIRROR. Not to admire yourself, you narcissist. To assess the weapon. Is your body weak? Fix it. Does your expression scream “victim”? Change it. Your physique is the first signal of your discipline. Look at it until it reflects the Slaylebrity champion you need to become.

3. LOOK AT THE HORIZON. Your long-term goal. The mountain you’re climbing. Most men are looking at their feet, trudging through the mud of daily trivialities. The real Slaylebrity has his eyes locked on the peak. The obstacles become mere scenery on the path.

4. LOOK AT THE WEAKNESSES (AND EXPLOIT THEM). Look at your competition’s soft spots. Look at the market gap. Look at the inefficiency in the system. This is how you win. You don’t look at the Slaylebrity winner and hope to be like him. You look at the game and find the winning move he missed.

5. LOOK AT THE WORK IN FRONT OF YOU. The screen with the code. The spreadsheet with the numbers. The weights on the bar. The book you need to study. This is the ANTIDOTE TO HOPING. Your hands must be busy building what your eyes have foreseen.

Women, money, respect—they are not things you chase. They are things that are ATTRACTED to a man who is utterly focused on his mission. When you stop looking for them, and start looking at your purpose, they will enter your field of view. They have no choice. Value attracts.

So I’ll ask you one more time, and this time, answer yourself with brutal honesty:

“Where you looking at, babe?”

Are you looking at the clown show of society, or are you looking at the chessboard?
Are you looking for external approval, or are you looking for internal victory?
Are you gazing at distractions, or are you locking eyes with destiny?

The direction of your gaze determines the destination of your life.

Stop being a tourist. Start being a architect.

Lift your eyes. Set your sight. And never, ever let them drag your focus back to the circus.
