At just 25 minutes from the beach of Follonica, 40 minutes from the beach of Punta Ala, 1 hour and a half from Pisa and Siena, Medusa is within an area of 1200 acres of a protected nature reserve, enjoyed exclusively by their guests in absolute peace and tranquillity.
Medusa is located in the heart of the Maremma, a vast area in Italy bordering the Tyrrhenian Sea. It was traditionally populated by the Butteri, cattle-breeders who until recently used horses with a distinctive style of the saddle…this is the Italian “Far West”.
The villa is immersed in an oasis of relaxation and amusement.

There are various sports activities to do such as horseback riding, playing tennis, soccer, having Italian cooking lessons, massage.
Medusa represents the utmost in terms of luxury and service: beautifully decorated, the bathrooms are spacious, and the living area is generous and welcoming with plenty of space. Alongside the main house, the Pool House boasts the ultimate in well being and relaxation.

Those enjoying a well-earned break at Medusa will be expertly looked after by the friendly yet unobtrusive maid and cook; they are responsible for daily cleaning and preparing succulent Italian meals (extra cost) in line with the special needs and preferences of guests.
The very large kitchen is perfect for cookery courses.

The estate offers an infinite number of isolated paths in the woods, across the rivers and around the lakes for excursions and picnics in the middle of nature that will be remembered forever. We suggest you go to the Castello on the top of the hill where you can enjoy the view of the land around.
