Cavo
Having just opened its doors in Tottenham Court Road, Mediterranean restaurant CAVO will be expanding their space with an additional outdoor terrace this April. Whether you fancy a cold glass of champagne or a menu of small plates, the terrace will be the perfect spot to sit back and relax- with a stellar view of London’s west end.
CAVO is a celebration of everything the sea and the middle of the earth have to offer, taking over the 4th floor of The New Outernet building. Standout dishes include lasagna crocante, the Mediterranean seafood celebration; and Zuppa Di Cozze.

Ploussard
This month sees hospitality duo Matt Harris and Tommy Kempton open up their latest venture in Battersea Rise. Ploussard will offer up a seasonal menu featuring dishes such as smoked cods roe and squid ink cracker; lamb and anchovy crumpet; BBQ scallop with Jerusalem artichoke and back fat; squash, housemate ricotta and lovage pesto; and a dreamy Amalfi lemon tart topped with crème fraîche. 
The space will be filled with cosy carved-out wooden booths, oat-coloured table tops and notes of burgundy and light pink filling the restaurant throughout.

Savoy Grill by Gordon Ramsay
In February, Savoy Grill closed its doors to undergo a momentous renaissance, making the restaurant an even more iconic destination. Since then, the team has been working around the clock to bring guests an incredible dining experience with an elegant new look, unforgettable dishes, out-of-this-world cocktails and an impressive wine menu. Riviera
The brand new opening from Emerald Hospitality Group, Riviera is London’s newest high-end restaurant inspired by the South of France. Set to open in Mayfair this April, the restaurant will comprise three main areas – the dining room, an outdoor terrace and a ground-floor bar and lounge. 
The menu will be inspired by this region of France, centred around sharing-style dishes – think grapefruit king crab salad; lemongrass marinated scallops; veal chops marinated in dijon mustard; lobster with yuzu butter; sea bass papillote; and tarte tatin for a classic French dessert.

The Gurkhas
Inspired by the heritage of the Himalayas, The Gurkhas is the brainchild of Nepal-born Shrabaneswor Rai. He’s teamed up with head chef Joe Allen, whose wife is Nepalese and whose father-in-law is a Gurkha, the restaurant hopes to bring to life modern iterations of Nepali cuisine. 
Look forward to dishes such as kukhura ko jhol momo (chicken dumplings with a tomato-based sauce); spicy lamb kachila, karela (marinated lamb tartare with Nepali herbs and spiced, crispy bitter gourd); duck breast dhule achar and taro roots (pan-fried duck breast with pickle butter); and monkfish choila, kaakro ko achar, chiura (grilled monkfish with cucumber salad and beaten rice).

Story Cellar
Two Michelin star chef Tom Sellers is set to open up a Parisian-inspired rotisserie style restaurant this month, complete with counter dining and small plate dishes. 
The main focus of the menu will be rotisserie chicken, served alongside a small menu of house-cured charcuterie and classic dishes including house terrine, a daily changing house grill and fish of the day. Set in the heart of Neal’s Yard, this is set to become the new pre-theatre stop-off.

The Don
A city institution has reopened its doors. Swithins Lane’s The Don has returned in full force following a four-year closure. 
Now under new ownership, the space has been completely refurbished and will be led by head chef Toby Lever (formerly Lutyens). Look forward to a modern European menu centred around seasonal ingredients and a diverse wine featuring over 600 bottles selected by head sommelier Max Cohn and David Gleave MW (chairman and founder of Liberty Wines).
