Hidden inside Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites and Residences is Quilon, the Michelin-star restaurant specialising in South-West coastal Indian cuisine. 
Seafood plays an integral part of the restaurant’s menus, boasting brilliant dishes such as lobster broth flavoured with coriander and a hint of coconut cream; byadgi chilli prawn; seafood moilee, featuring cubes of halibut, prawns and potato gently poached in a moilee sauce; and baked black cod that’s been subtly spiced for a lighter main option.

For those searching for a scenic five-star experience, Lucknam Park looks as if it’s plucked straight out of Downton Abbey. Every ounce of the luxury estate has been primed and prepared, from the indoor pool that looks out over the gardens and is slotted against a roaring fireplace to the fine dining option. 
For Michelin delights, book in for the Hywel Jones Restaurant in the main house. Following suit with the rest of the house’s design, it’s very rich and traditional – think tasselled curtains, white linen tablecloths, and gold-framed oil paintings.

Led by executive chef Hywel Jones who has held a Michelin star at the restaurant since 2006, expect a menu bursting with flavour. Seasonal tasting menus are on offer, featuring the likes of poached creedy, carver chicken sweetbreads glazed in pancetta, salify, Wiltshire truffle and violet artichoke; braised Cornish turbot with cucumber chutney, clams and monks beard; and Wiltshire lamb with new season asparagus, cep mushroom and wild garlic. There’s even a dedicated vegetarian-tasting menu option too.

Michael Caines at Lympstone Manor
Brought to life by Michael Caines MBE, Lympstone Manor is a Grade II listed Georgian manor house set in Exmouth, Devon. The hotel is home to 21 individually designed bedrooms and suites, with a dreamy pool house and vineyard on site. 
Their on-site restaurant served up Michelin-quality food, centred around Caines’ timeless and eclectic European cuisine. Opt for their a la carte menu and delight on crab ravioli with grapefruit, lemongrass, and ginger; butter-poached Brixham turbot with braised leeks, poached scallops, truffle and chive butter sauce; and pistachio soufflé with pistachio ice cream.

Raymond Blanc at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons
Looking as if it’s been plucked out of Oxfordshire’s Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons is the brainchild of celebrated chef Raymond Blanc OBE. The hotel itself looks fit for a fairytale, surrounded by lawns, flowers and orchards, as well as a vegetable and herb garden that both kitchen and cookery school use to create sublime dishes using organic produce. 
The acclaimed manor house is filled with cosy bedrooms, filled with warming comforters, tassel curtains and original wooden beams.

Onsite you’ll find the restaurant where Blanc’s vision comes to life. The restaurant earned two Michelin stars upon opening 38 years ago and still to this day retains them. The restaurant itself is filled with natural decoration, with warm wood and muted tones, serving up seven-course dinner options, as well as veggie and vegan menus. 
The hotel also boasts the Raymond Blanc Cookery School, offering courses for all experience levels, from half-day introductory courses to residential programmes.

This one is a pretty big deal: Gleneagles Hotel is home to the only two Michelin-star restaurant in Scotland. Part of the Stafford Collection, Northcote is located in the heart of Lancashire, between the Ribble Valley hills and the Forest of Bowland. Located in the Sussex countryside, Gravetye Manor offers a cosy English cottage-style stay. The hotel’s vegetable and herb garden envelopes the building, with the Dining Room using the fresh produce in every meal.
