London Vegan Menus To Sample This Veganuary

Holy Carrot x Cowspiracy
Knightsbridge’s plant-based restaurant Holy Carrot has teamed up with COWSPIRACY, the American documentary film which made headlines in 2014, to create a Veganuary menu that promotes and raises awareness of a plant-based diet.
After the success of last year’s collaboration together, they have teamed up again this January to create a ‘meaty’ four-course set menu, all paired alongside a refreshing SAVOIA L’Americano welcome cocktail.
Dishes include ‘steak tartare’, made with ox heart tomato, crispy crackling, Pommery mustard and cornichons; ‘Shepherd’s Pie’ croquettes with smoked beets, crunchy onion hay, black lentils and thyme sauce; Glazed Doughnut with smoked BBQ mushrooms, harissa and bacon jam and pan gravy; and Pecan Pie with a maple glaze and smoked yoghurt ice cream.

Well thought out and intriguing, expect dishes such as Jerusalem artichoke, wild mushroom and pear tartlet; braised heritage carrots with a freekeh and chestnut stew and carrot top pesto; and Valrona dark chocolate ganache, brownie, raspberry carpaccio and fresh raspberries.
