Chewton Glen, New Milton
If you’re not quite ready to quite give up your everyday luxuries but still want the quirks of a treehouse stay, Chewton Glen is your perfect spot for a treehouse stay with a serious wow-factor.
Of course it’s their new luxe treehouse, The Yews, that we’re currently lusting over. Located in New Forest, the private treehouse hopes to create a real homely vibe, shown through the wood burner becoming the central feature of the living room to the cosy, warm tones. All of your essentials are catered for, with even the option to have your own personal chef prepare and cook your meals while you sit back and relax in the bubbling hot tub or laying on the sun beds on the balcony.

Pickwell Manor, Devon
Into the woods we go…
Pickwell Manor in Braunton, Devon is home to rural apartments, sprawling gardens and, of course, tree houses. With the desire to make their guests stay as remote, enjoyable and connected to the landscape as possible, the owners devised two bespoke treehouses for guests to explore, one overlooking the grounds and sea and the other with soaring views over Baggy point and Lundy island. The treehouses themselves both sleep up to two, and house cosy nooks for guests to curl up in and watch the world go by. We love The Loft for its ensuite shower room that’s decorated with the forest in mind (quite literally, you’ll be surrounded by a woodland space as you shower!).

Sky Den, Northumberland
Imagine a roof that opens up like a convertible car whenever you’re just a little too hot and your average Dyson fan isn’t going to cut it. It sounds like something of a dream, but in fact, it was the envision of William Hardie Designs and George Clarke for the Channel 4 quirky architectural show, George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces.
Located in Northumberland, the Sky Den is equipped with all of your essential needs, from a fully functioning kitchen with fold-away furniture to a balcony overlooking the nearby river. It’s a mini paradise that uses every ounce of its design to benefit and hide away different features into its nooks, to only come out when needed.
