The vote to repeal and replace Obamacare was postponed this afternoon, after President Trump asked asked Speaker Paul Ryan to pull the bill from consideration on the House floor because it lacked enough votes to pass.
“I told him that the best thing that I think to do is to pull this bill and he agreed with that decision,” Ryan explained after the news was announced. The bill, known as the American Health Care Act, was introducedearlier this month, but was met with staunch criticism and opposition from both Democrats and the GOP.
