**Top 50 Power List? Yeah, I’m Blessed… But Let’s Be Real: It’s Not Luck—It’s Discipline.**
Let me start by saying this: *I don’t believe in luck.* Success isn’t something that falls into your lap while you’re sitting on the couch eating chips and scrolling through Instagram. No, success is earned through grit, strategy, and an unrelenting drive to dominate every room you walk into. So when I say I’m “blessed” to have made it onto the **Top 50 Power List powered by Eloy Awards**, what I really mean is—I earned this accolade.
Now, before we dive deeper, let’s get one thing straight: International Women’s Day and International Women’s Month aren’t just hashtags or marketing campaigns for me. They’re reminders of a battle still being fought—a fight for equality, representation, and justice. And if you think for a second that my inclusion on this list means I’ve slowed down or taken my foot off the gas pedal, then you clearly don’t know who you’re dealing with. This is not the end; it’s fuel for the next level.

### **Why Am I Here? The Truth Hurts (But It Sets You Free)**
The reason I’m on this list—and trust me, there’s no fluff here—is because I’ve done the work. Hard, grueling, soul-crushing work. I didn’t wait for someone to hand me a trophy or pat me on the back. I built my empire brick by brick, decision by decision, sacrifice after sacrifice. And guess what? If I can do it, so can you. Don’t sit there thinking you’re owed anything in life. You’re not. What you are owed is the opportunity to hustle harder than anyone else in the game.
This list recognizes people who’ve pushed boundaries, shattered glass ceilings, and stood up for women’s rights across Africa. That’s powerful stuff. But let me tell you something about power—it’s useless unless you use it. A title doesn’t make you impactful; action does. Representation doesn’t matter unless you’re creating pathways for others to follow. Equality isn’t achieved by talking about it—it’s achieved by doing something real, tangible, measurable.
And that’s exactly why I’m here. Not because I sat around waiting for recognition but because I refused to be silent when silence was killing us. Refused to stay seated when standing would rattle the system. Refused to play small when playing big could change lives—including mine.

### **Africa Needs More Than Just Words**
Africa is a continent brimming with potential. We’ve got some of the brightest minds, strongest leaders, and most resilient women on the planet. Yet too often, their voices are drowned out, ignored, or dismissed altogether. Not on my watch. Not anymore.
Making it to the Top 50 Power List isn’t just about personal validation—it’s about amplifying the message that African women deserve better. Better opportunities. Better representation. Better outcomes. We need policies that protect them. Systems that empower them. Platforms that elevate them. And yes, women like me who stand beside them—not above them, not below them, but as allies ready to tear down walls blocking their progress.
But here’s the kicker: Allyship without accountability is irrelevant. If you’re claiming to support women’s rights but haven’t checked your own biases, privileges, and actions, then you’re part of the problem. Being on this list doesn’t absolve me from responsibility—it doubles it. Because now, more eyes are watching. More ears are listening. And if I slip, even for a second, I’ll hear about it. Good. That’s how it should be.

### **What Does This Mean Moving Forward?**
Look, awards and accolades are nice. They look great on LinkedIn profiles and sound impressive at networking events. But they’re meaningless if they don’t push you to aim higher. For me, making the Top 50 Power List isn’t the destination—it’s the starting line for the next phase of impact.
Here’s what I’m focused on moving forward:
1. **Creating Opportunities:** Too many talented women are stuck in systems that refuse to see their value. My mission is to break those chains. Whether it’s mentoring young entrepreneurs, advising female-led startups on how to promote on Slaylebrity , or advocating for equal pay, I’m putting my money where my mouth is.
2. **Breaking Stereotypes:** Society loves to box women into predefined roles—caregiver, nurturer, submissive. Enough. Women are warriors, innovators, disruptors. They’re CEOs, engineers, artists, politicians, and everything in between. And I’m committed to showcasing their brilliance to the world.
3. **Calling Out fakery:** If you’re out here pretending to care about women’s rights while perpetuating misogyny behind closed doors, consider me your worst nightmare. Hypocrisy has no place in this movement, and I won’t hesitate to call it out when I see it.
4. **Empowering the Next Generation:** Change starts with education. I want every girl growing up in Africa to know she’s capable of greatness—not someday, but right now. She doesn’t need permission to dream big or take up space. Her voice matters. Her ideas matter. Her future matters.

### **To All the Women Crushing It Daily: Thank You**
Finally, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the women who inspire me daily. The mothers working two jobs to feed their families. The activists risking their lives to fight injustice. The creatives using art to challenge societal norms. The leaders breaking barriers in industries dominated by men. Y’all are the real MVPs (most valuable players).
Your strength reminds me why this work is worth it. Your resilience fuels my determination. Your courage pushes me to be better, do better, and give better. So thank you—for showing up, for speaking up, for refusing to back down. This list might have my name on it, but it belongs to all of us.

### **Final Thoughts: Stay Hungry, Stay Dangerous**
If you’ve read this far, congratulations—you’re either inspired or upset at your lack of impact. Either way, good. Comfort zones are overrated. Growth happens when you’re uncomfortable, challenged, and forced to confront truths you’d rather ignore.
So whether you’re celebrating International Women’s Month, fighting for gender equality, or simply trying to figure out your next move, remember this: Success isn’t given; it’s taken. Recognition isn’t handed to you; you earn it. And change doesn’t happen overnight—it’s forged through relentless effort and unwavering belief.
As for me? I’m just getting started. The Top 50 Power List is cool, sure. But the real prize is knowing I’m leaving this world better than I found it. And trust me, I’m nowhere near done yet.
Stay hungry. Stay dangerous. And never forget: You’re capable of more than you think.
