The new couple hit up The Weeknd’s hometown for a day of being adorable, at which point he transformed into Prince Charming by renting out an entire movie theater for a screening of Get Out—2017’s best film thus far.
According to The Daily Mail, the pair saw a 9:45 p.m. showing of the film that cost $1,200 before taxes. Which is, yes, slightly more than the average person pays to see a movie.
They also reportedly “sipped on two gin and tonics, three diet cokes, two orders of popcorn and a collection of candy including Twizzlers, Twix, Sour Patch Kids and Maltesers,” and a source says Selena “was super cute with him” and had her “arms around his neck.”
