Compact the sesame seedsinto the glutinous rice balls by rolling them between your two palms. Heat about 1½ inches (4cm) deep vegetable oil in a medium sized saucepan over medium heat. Gently lower 4 glutinous rice balls into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.Note: You want to use short grain brown rice - use short grain brown Japanese rice, sometimes labeled sushi rice. Long grain rice doesn't work as well. Arborio rice works well too.
