The GARDEN PALACE and the CITY PALACE of the Liechtenstein Princely Family have been firmly rooted in the history of Vienna for more than 300 years. Both palaces are still privately owned by the royal family.
The STADTPALAIS in an exquisite inner-city location in Vienna has been shining in its former glory since 2013 after almost five years of renovation work. It is considered the first significant building of the High Baroque in Vienna. Baroque stucco ceilings blend harmoniously with the opulent neo-rococo interior, the original furnishings and the refined parquet floors by Michael Thonet. Selected Biedermeier and Classicist works from the private art collection of the Prince of Liechtenstein can be viewed as part of booked tours.
Magnificent historical rooms for exclusive events are available on around 250 m² on the first floor and around 320 m² on the second floor. In addition, the Minoritenhalle on the ground floor with its light wood paneling, its own kitchen and direct access to the inner courtyard offers an attractive and modern alternative on around 150 m².
