Natalie Portman has given birth to her second child, her rep confirmed to Us Weekly. The actress and her husband Benjamin Millepied welcomed a baby girl, named Amalia, and she and the baby are “happy and healthy,” the rep added. Portman and Millepied, who wed in 2012, are currently parents to a five-year-old son, Aleph.
The Jackie star’s pregnancy was first publicly confirmed in September, after she had shown signs of a (very chic) baby bump at the Venice Film Festival. She was unable to attend the Independent Spirit Awards and Academy Awards last weekend since they were so close to her due date.
