T-shirts may be considered as an affordable type of apparel, but that doesn’t mean they can’t reach hefty sums. Just take the world’s most expensive t-shirt, a super luxurious tee that comes with an astonishing price of $400,000. Yes, that’s four hundred thousand US dollars.
So what makes this one so expensive, you might ask? Well, it’s made from 100% organic cotton. Just kidding; well, it is made from cotton, but it also has a set of 16 diamonds sewn in, summing up to a total of nine carats.
As you can see in the given picture, the diamonds form an interesting pattern on the front side, but is the luxurious tee really worth its price? Just imagine how many tuxedo t-shirts you could buy for all that money, or any other cool t-shirts for that matter.
It takes four weeks to produce a single model, the UK-based manufacturer says, but the t-shirt should be more than worth the wait. Also, each buyer receives a one-year warranty, but don’t think you have it all covered. As the small print clearly states, “improper use, accidental damage, loss and theft are not covered by the policy,” so you might want to consider being more careful while wearing it.
