The 16-year-old model who was dubbed the “most beautiful girl in the world” at the age of six walked the catwalk for Dolce & Gabbana at Milan Fashion Week on Saturday night in a “secret” off-schedule show.
Thylane Blondeau found fame at the age of four after she made her fashion debut on Jean Paul Gaultier’s catwalk and posed for Vogue Enfants two years later.
The French teen is now signed with IMG models and boasts more than 1.6 million followers on Instagram.

Blondeau made her debut catwalk appearance for the Italian design duo in February, when they showcased their autumn/winter 2017 collection.
Known for casting a mix of models and social media influencers, Blondeau was joined on the runway this time around by Hailey Baldwin, Amber Le Bon and Anais Gallagher.
As the daughter of football star Patrick Blondeau, the teen beauty fit right into Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s penchant for casting celebrity offspring in their shows – Sofia Ritchie and Rafferty Law walked for the Italian duo last season.

Though Blondeau attended the Tommy Hilfigher show during London Fashion Week, this marked her first runway appearance of the season.
At 5’6” tall, she is a far cry from the usual height requirements of female models, who typically stand at 5’10” or more.

However, Dolce & Gabbana have never been ones to shy away from subverting tradition with their model line-ups.
Featuring a line-up of all shapes and sizes, they are one of the few Milanese shows that champions diversity, with their autumn/winter 2017 show featuring a mix of YouTube stars, musicians and even one fashion editor alongside regular models.

The theme for the show was theme of hearts

Dolce & Gabbana delivered a heaping helping of femininity Italian-style, with a collection that was pure joy in its rich details

From the rainbow raffia-trimmed hats, to the bejeweled shoes with a single pearl on the tip of the toe.

The message on the runway here, as it has been in most of the shows this week in Milan? Put on a happy face, no matter what cards you are dealt, hence the Queen of Hearts prints and the shuffling cards set piece at the top of the runway.

As go-to designers for First Lady Melania Trump, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana presented plenty of options for women for whom money is no object, including a flower-applique jacket that was strikingly similar to the $51,500 full-length version worn by Trump during a trip to Sicily this spring.

The title of the collection was “Amore e Belezza (love is beauty), which translated into a rededication to the brand’s love affair with La Dolce Vita and all that comes with it — food, family and costumed festivals, with witty prints and embellishments nodding to all three.

What was particularly fun to watch was how they maximized every look, right down to the raffia-trimmed round sunglasses.
