You can stack cash until it touches the ceiling, but if there’s no one to share your victories with—no kids laughing at your dumb jokes or grandkids climbing on your back like you’re their personal jungle gym—you’re just another lonely king sitting on a throne made of ash. Family isn’t optional. It’s everything.

And I’m not saying this because it sounds poetic. I’m saying it because I live it. Every single day. My kids and grandkids aren’t just “part of my life.” They *are* my life. Those moments—the chaos, the laughter, the tears—they’re what keep me grounded when the world tries to pull me under.

Let’s talk about luxury for a second. Society tells you luxury is a Rolex, a private jet, or bottles popping in VIP rooms. Sure, those things are fun. But here’s the raw truth: **The most expensive thing in the world is time spent with people who love you unconditionally.** And guess what? You can’t buy that gold on Amazon.

When my grandkids come running up to me, screaming my name like I’m some kind of superhero, do you think I care about the car parked outside? Nope. All I see is them. Their smiles light up my soul brighter than any gold Jewelry ever could.

Those memories we build together—they’re forever. Money fades. Fame fades. Indeed, even your health fades eventually. But the bond you create with your family? That sticks around long after you’re gone. Your legacy isn’t your bank account—it’s the stories your kids will tell their kids.

Here’s something most people don’t understand: Success isn’t measured by how much you accumulate; it’s measured by how much you give. Too many idiots chase money thinking it’ll fill the void inside them. Spoiler alert: It won’t.

But raising strong, happy kids? Building a family that laughs together, fights together (yeah, families fight—it’s part of the deal), and grows together? That’s success. That’s power. That’s immortality.

Every time I teach my kid a lesson, every time I watch my grandkid take their first steps, I know I’m leaving something behind that’ll outlast me. Not the thrill of winning a fight, not the rush of closing a big deal—nothing compares to knowing you’ve built something eternal.

Family keeps you human. Kids don’t care how much money you make. They don’t care if you’re famous or feared. They just want Dad—or Grandpa—to play catch, read them a bedtime story, or sit through another god-awful finger-painting session.

And honestly? That’s beautiful. Because in those moments, you remember why you started hustling in the first place. Was it for yachts? For designer watches? Or was it so you could provide for the people who matter most?

### **THE HARDEST TRUTH: WITHOUT FAMILY, YOU’RE ALONE**

I’m gonna say something brutal now, and you need to hear it. If you neglect your family—if you put work, money, or ego ahead of them—then you’re building a house of cards. One day, it’s all gonna come crashing down, and you’ll be left standing there with nobody to pick up the pieces.

Loneliness is a prison worse than anything else life can throw at you. Trust me—I’ve seen it happen to women stronger than me. People who had everything—money, fame, power—but ended up old and bitter because they forgot the one thing that truly matters: connection.

Don’t be that person. Don’t wait until it’s too late to realize what really counts. Spend time with your kids. Call your parents. Play with your grandkids. These moments are fleeting, and once they’re gone, they don’t come back.
