A majestic paradise with sweeping river views.

Kykuit, a historic site of the National Trust,
is operated & maintained by the Rockefeller
Brothers Fund as a center for its philanthropic
programs. Historic Hudson Valley operates
the visitation program.

Kykuit was home to four generations of the Rockefeller family, beginning with the philanthropist John D. Rockefeller, founder of Standard Oil. His business acumen made him, in his day, the richest man in America. Now a historic site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, this extraordinary landmark has been continuously and meticulously maintained for more than 100 years. All Kykuit tours originate from the Visitor Center at Philipsburg Manor. Tours begin and end with a shuttle bus ride that takes visitors to and from the estate.”

It takes about 2.5 -3 hrs hrs to tour the place, it is certainly stunning, we highly recommend the gift shop. And make sure you checkout the art.

Please note that the Grand Tour is not wheelchair accessible. The Kykuit Classic Tour and the Kykuit Selected Highlights Tour are wheelchair accessible
