When we last checked in with Kim Kardashian West at the NBC Upfrontslast month, the reality TV star gave clues to a new summer look, saying “I’m trying to be a step up from where I wore sneakers and sweats all the time.” And yesterday, while accompanying sister Kourtney and nephew Mason, Kardashian West did just that, elevating her sweatsuit with a pair of heeled boots designed by her husband Kanye West. This isn’t the first time that Kardashian West has gotten a leg up on off-duty style: in February, she paired a corset and sweatpants with similar boots, and ahead of her last New York trip, she boarded her flight in the same killer heels and a leisure suit from the Calabasas collection.
Judging by her latest outfit, she’s moving away from the all-black city look towards a lighter aesthetic. The Yeezy top and trousers were a streetwear twist to monochromatic dressing, a staple in the West household. She accessorized with—what else!—sparkling 18k gold pendants from her husband’s new jewelry collection.
