Melissa Rycroft was not a fan of the way Kim Kardashian’s body looked on Monday evening at the Met Gala in New York City.
The former Bachelor star took to social media to express her dislike.
‘Not natural … and not something young ones should be looking up to,’ the Dancing With The Stars vet wrote in her caption. ‘Not to mention it doesn’t even look right.’ She added the hashtag ‘#metgalafail.’

But backlash set in as Kim’s fans were not happy and later, the TV star took to her Instagram stories to say: ‘I don’t like feeling like I’m in trouble.’ She added, ‘Guess I’m going to have to talk about the Kardashian drama I somehow created with my post yesterday. I have a lot to say about this, so I’ll have to do it on this week’s podcast to get it all out…’

Kim’s waistline looked tiny – less than 24 inches – in a Latex Thierry Mugler dress at the Met Gala. Her bottom also looked larger as the nude material was stretched out.
Melissa also added a comparison shot of Kim from when she hit the Met Gala in 2015. Her waist looked wider, but was still very flattering.

Some liked the comment: ‘Thank you!!!I would never ever want my daughter looking up to something like this and thinking she has to look like this!!!’
But Kim’s fans were quick to fight back.

‘To each there own. She is clearly just corseted. The look of the night was extreme for most. I really don’t see the issue here,’ said one Instagram follower.  
Another noted, ‘She looks just like Dolly Parton!’ ‘Why can’t you just let her and anyone else be?’ wrote another Kim fan.  
Kim’s trainer was not thrilled with all the hate, either. She was quick to defend the reality star in a since-deleted Instagram story posted shortly after fashion’s biggest night of the year.
Melissa Alcanta posted a lengthy response to critics, writing that her client is ‘dedicated’ and ‘works her a** off’ six days per week’ to achieve her famous physique.

‘To make things clear, 1. This dress is corseted BUT 2. Kim trains her a** off 6 days a f***ing week, she wakes up early af and is dedicated,’ she wrote online.
‘3. I paved the road for her but SHE did the work! I love compliments either way. MOST IMPORTANTLY I don’t give a s*** about your opinions on her body if you think she fake or not!’
Melissa is regularly seen training with Kim at her home gym as the Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star updates her fans on her workouts.   

I see her every morning, I see her train and I see her sweat and I see all the work she does outside of the gym and THAT is commendable!  

She revealed that her nude Thierry Mugler gown included a Mr. Pearl ‘proper corset’ and took ‘about eight months’ to create. 
‘This is the first time in 20 years Mr. Mugler has designed for the House of Mugler. So to come and design this gown for me is such an honor,’ she told Vogue on the pink carpet. ‘This is about eight months in the making … He envisioned me this California girl stepping out of the ocean, wet, dripping.’

Kim took a break from her strict regimen to indulge in a sweet treat as she revealed a colorful box of miniature, vanilla glazed doughnuts from one of the many Doughnuttery locations in New York on Tuesday morning.
‘After last night you guys, this is what I ordered,’ she said in an Instagram story. ‘I made sure they were hot and fresh on my door when I woke up.’ 
Hours before her sweet delivery, she played host-with-the-most at an afterparty well-attended by her celebrity friends, with A-Listers including Hailey Bieber, Kanye West, Kylie and Kendall Jenner and Travis Scott, who is rumored to have performed at the glitzy event.
