The Duchess of Cambridge reportedly attended sister Pippa Middleton’s low-key hen do (aka bachelorette party) on the same weekend Prince William was pictured partying with friends in the Alps.
According to The Sun, Kate, William and their group of friends shared the same private jet—paid for by the Middletons—to take them on their separate skiing holidays.
The Duke headed to Verbier in Switzerland, while Kate flew 100 miles away to Meribel in France ahead of Pippa’s wedding to hedge fund manager James Matthews.

A friend told the newspaper: “Pippa loves skiing so it was her first choice for a hen weekend.
“They stayed in a really exclusive catered chalet with maids and chef, who ensured that they were totally spoilt… The owners also wanted to impress their royal guests so the girls were showered with gifts.
“They were given Swatch watches, Ugg slippers, leather-bound notebooks and bespoke fragrances. It was a very small, private party and they had an amazing time.”
William had been criticized by some media outlets for missing the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey on March 13 for his trip to Verbier.
The 34-year-old royal had been filmed throwing shapes on the dance-floor at Farinet nightclub at the Swiss ski resort with companions including Guy Pelly, James Meade and Tom van Straubenzee. The footage went viral and has been viewed millions of times worldwide.
Meanwhile, Kate and William were picturedarriving for a family dinner at Pippa’s Kensington home with James last week. James’s father David Matthews and his wife Jane Parker, and brother, former Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, were in attendance.
Pippa is due to marry James in May at her family’s village church of St Mark’s in Englefield, Berkshire. The reception is to be held in her parents’ garden with 150 guests invited.
