Word on the street is that Kanye West, Justin Bieber and Drake might not be attending the 59th Annual Grammy Awards, despite each of them getting quite a few nominations.
Bieber is nominated for four awards, while Drake and Kanye are nominated for eight each, but even that might not be enough to entice them.
According to TMZ, Bieber doesn’t think the Grammys are relevant or representative, especially regarding young singers. As for Drake, he’ll be on tour in Europe at the time. All three, however, are said to be opting out because they allegedly regard the Grammys as out of touch and irrelevant.

Fortunately, we do know that Metallica, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban, all of whom are nominated in their respective genres, are showing up at the ceremony.
John Legend will also be doing a special live performance, despite his new solo album Darkness and Light missing the window for this year’s Grammy eligibility because of its December release.

Beyoncé leads this year’s nominees with nine for her stunning visual album Lemonade, although Drake, Rihanna, Kanye West and Chance the Rapper are right behind her.
Other major nominees this year include Adele for her comeback album 25 and the late rock icon David Bowie.
You can watch the awards on CBS on Sunday, February 12.
